Karsten chimes in

Karsten has just posted the following on the Replica Prop Forum:

"Ok. I guess I need to chime in here. I hadn't read through this thread in some time due to..well its really really long, but I had some time so I started to get caught up. I tend to not say anything when flame wars, or negative posts start as I honestly find it a waste of time and energy, I have enough real life drama that I deal with I don't need manufactured prop drama, its my hobby I find it fun end of story. So let me get some facts straight here.

1) I own the CO toy prototype measured 1:1 from the Eccelston sonic, there are some details that mine has the the actual prop does not as its a toy prototype, mainly some details at the base near the black cap. Measurements were taken by CO from a production Sonic, 4 replicas were then produced, 1) for the BBC, 2) for other parties who shall remain nameless and 1) for myself. The BBC one was stolen from the Cardiff Muesum some time ago where it had been on display.

2) I have never owned, touched, held the actual prop, nor ever claimed to in previous threads would I have liked to hell yes..but I have not, just the CO proto Sonic.

3) I will and have provided any information regarding measurements to any who have asked for it. Gladly, mainly due to experiences I had early on with individuals who had knowledge on props of interest who would not share, I vowed I would not be one of those, that is just me and I only speak for me.

I have no real constructive nor negative comments in regards to CT's claims. As I said earlier it is negative energy better spent in the Gym. Should anyone ever want to take more accurate measurements from what I have, feel free to come on up to Vermont I'll give you full access. I have been very lucky to have made some pretty good contacts in the Doctor Who world I call many of them my friends and have reaped some pretty special gifts from it and have been able to pass along some to others as well. Not sure what to say beyond that, people are going to do what they are going to do CT included, save your time, and energy Justin you said your piece with him thats all you can do, time to let it go. I know its not easy, trust me of all people, I know. MFX has a great product with bugs, wow imagine that, that never happens (that was scarcasm :P) I am confident that Neill and MFX will do everything to ensure everyone is statisfied, he strikes me as someone who cares about his customers and loyal fans. Well I think I rambled a bit at the end but I believe I made my point."

 

Firstly, I don't know Karsten, never had any contact with him and none of my work is derived from or influenced by anything he has posted. The above confirms it.

 

However, his post is confirmation of the bullshit and misinformation (and downright slander) that I have stated all along Justin Monk has been spouting about me. In many ways, this has made him look even more of a strokemaster.  Let's look at one of the things he wrote here:

"They also say the orginal was resin, which is wrong, just from the pictures of the one karstva handled."

Not wrong. Documented, undisputed, axiomatic FACT, you stupid fucking cretin. As Karsten confirmed above. Yet another Primrodo fantasy. What is even more disturbing is that the pics of Karsten holding his CO Prototype clearly show it is made from PLASTIC. Primrodo has just demonstrated in SPECTACULAR fashion that he cannot tell the difference between metal and plastic. How the fuck he thinks he can tell the difference between stainless steel and aluminium is anyone's guess but some people's observational stupidity and overestimation of their own observational skills are just limitless I guess.
 

I would like to thank Karsten for posting this and apologise if anything I wrote caused him any offense. I have no beef with you, you seem like a nice peace loving guy and I am sorry your name was dragged into it by morons who should have checked their facts first.

 

Justin, are you reading this? I'm still waiting on my apology and retraction of your lies.
